This is a complete both halves of a double chamber thunder egg I dug at the Polka Dot mine in Central Oregon. It is fully polished and the two chambers are connected as they share a stunning star shaped core of translucent agate, common opal and a nice side cut view of limonite stalactites. The shell is the picture rhyolite these thunder eggs are known for and the back of each thunder egg is complete. For a collector this is one you will want. Together the two sides weigh over 18lbs and are each approximately 9” long and 7” wide.
