This is a beautiful banded rhyolite agate from North Ankara, Turkey. This has a swirling core of multicolored blue and tan banded agate around a small crystal core. The shell is rhyolite and this type is often mistaken for petrified wood. It is fully polished on the face and is approximately 5” x 3-1/4” and 4” deep
