This nice piece of petrified wood has been cut with it’s natural shape in mind to create a piece that not only stands up on its flat base but looks like it should fall over but is balanced well enough to stand on its own. This make for a wonderful display piece that will draw attention wherever you place it.
It has a beautiful two tone brown showing off what used to be the wood grain this now fossil from long ago. There is a small area that is only partially mineralized and is softer than the surrounding rock and thus does not polish and is slightly below the surface due to its being softer and that gives this a unique appearance.
