Canyon Rim Thunder Egg Half

This is a half of a thunder egg I dug at the Polka Dot mine in Central Oregon. It is fully polished with a core of translucent coffee colored agate with light colored common opal and a hollow center. The shell is rhyolite and the back the thunder egg is complete and is approximately 4-1/2” long and 4-1/4” wide.
