This is a Canyon Rim Thunder Egg I dug and cut right on the edge of the nice botryoidal plume of manganese covered In chalcedony showing it originating in the core and extending out of the center making this one a very unique display specimen. Inside it has not only the manganese plume but agate and common opal with the picture rhyolite. On the back it also has a bonus botryoidal area of pink chalcedony left over from another egg that was sitting next to it in the bed. It is approximately 6” x 4” and is 2.4 lbs
