This is a half of a Canyon Rim Thunder Egg that I dug, then cut and polished. This is a full half egg specimen with an intact back that has lots of common opal with the dots from the agate from this mine and translucent agate, a hollow center that displays some UV reactive properties and the signature picture rhyolite shell this area is known for. This piece weighs 5.4 lbs and is approximately 7” x 6”
