Small Canyon Rim Thunder Egg Half with Botryoidal

This is a small half of a thunder egg I dug at the Polka Dot mine in Central Oregon. It is fully polished with a core of translucent coffee colored botryoidal agate with some hematite inclusions visible in the bots that are cut in the hollow center. The shell is rhyolite and the back the thunder egg is complete and is approximately 3” long and 3” wide.
