This half of a Los Choyas solid geode from the Chihuahuan Desert area of Mexico. It has the characteristic light blue fine bands of chalcedony creating beautiful patterns leading to a white core in the center and it has some areas of very distinct parallax lines. A parallax is created when the agate is translucent enough and the fortification lines are finely spaces and cast a shadow on each other when you move the agate in the light creating an optical illusion. it is approximately 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
