A beautiful Los Choyas geode pair that I have cracked open to reveal the sparkling smokey quartz crystals lining each half along with some manganese oxide formations. This is known as a “brown rimmed” coconut geode with the outer shell made up of a mineral called Siderite made up of a dark brown iron oxide. Each half is 3-1/2” across and the backs are intact.
