This half of a Los Choyas solid geode from the Chihuahuan Desert area of Mexico. It has the characteristic light blue fine bands of chalcedony creating beautiful patterns and it has some areas of parallax lines. A parallax is created when the agate is translucent enough and the fortification lines are finely spaces and cast a shadow on each other when you move the agate in the light creating an optical illusion. it is approximately 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
